This riverside restaurant serves meals on a "sizzling rock", a volcanic piece of rock super-heated in a special oven to over 450°C. The food is raw when it arrives on your table, but it'll cook soon enough and you can decide when it's "done" enough to your liking. If your food cools before you finish eating, just place it back on the rock (which retains heat for up to 45 minutes) to warm it up.

A general theme seems to be that is God damn expensive to have kids in Singapore. What are the differences then in terms of help from the government? Meaning if you have kids as a citizen/PR/work pass holder.

In many ways, living in Singapore is a perception skewing smorgasbord.

For me, I probably wouldn’t .....
